Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a z/OS DB2 Database Administrator to maintain and optimize DB2 on the z/OS platform. You will be responsible for the system architecture, design translation, and ongoing maintenance to support mission-critical operations.

The role requires extensive experience with DB2 on z/OS, SQL, DDL, utilities, and on-call support. Candidates should demonstrate problem solving and collaboration across teams in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as DB2 DBA on z/OS with SQL, DDL and utilities.
• Knowledge of capacity/performance management and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Incident and Problem resolution based on SLAs.
• Execute DB Utilities (Reorg, Runstats, Copy, Load, Unload, Modify, Check, Recover, Rebuild).
• Execute DB2 Commands (Stop, Start, Display, Cancel, etc).
• Resolve problems, document solutions, and implement changes.
• DB2 Security (RACF, Grants, Revokes, Roles, Privileges).
