Cloud and Things in New Jersey is seeking a COBOL Developer to support maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise applications on a mainframe. You will analyze requirements, write unit tests, develop JCL, and collaborate across teams to ensure data integrity and system performance.

This is an exempt role with salary ranging from $95,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate has 5+ years COBOL experience, 3+ years IBM mainframe exposure, and strong

• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining COBOL applications
• 3+ years of experience working in an IBM mainframe environment
• 3+ years of experience with JCL and batch processing
• 3+ years of experience with CICS, DB2, VSAM, or comparable mainframe technologies
• 2+ years of experience with production support and troubleshooting
• Experience with full software development lifecycle activities

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, test, and support COBOL applications in a mainframe environment
• Analyze requirements and translate them into effective solutions
• Modify programs to improve performance and support changing business needs
• Write, execute, and document unit tests and support testing
• Develop and maintain JCL for batch processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle
• Support deployment activities and post-implementation validation
