Job summary

Brilliant Infotech Inc. invites a skilled Mainframe Analyst to join our team in a contract, hybrid role based in Trenton, New Jersey.

You will analyze, maintain, and enhance existing mainframe applications while extracting and documenting business rules. Responsibilities include COBOL/CICS/DB2/MQ code analysis, reviewing JCL batch workflows, developing and testing DB2 stored procedures, and creating thorough technical documentation.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
• 8+ years of experience in COBOL/CICS/DB2 coding, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with IBM OS/JCL (MVS) and CICS.
• Proficient in IBM DB2 and DB2 stored procedures.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to document technical requirements and user workflows.
• Experience with MQ or APPC/LU 6.2 COBOL-CICS.
• Experience participating in system and usability testing with users.

Responsibilities
