Job summary

State of Maine in Augusta seeks an Analytics professional to support MaineCare eligibility and enrollment analyses. You will build datasets, validate data quality, and create reports to inform budget decisions and policy impacts.

The role focuses on forecasting enrollment and analyzing the fiscal effects of state and federal changes, collaborating with OFI and OMS to drive data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics or related field.
• Two years of data analysis, accounting, and/or financial analysis experience.
• Directly related Medicaid data analysis experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create MaineCare member enrollment reports.
• Coordinate with OFI to analyze eligibility and enrollment data.
• Create analytical datasets from OMS and OFI data sources.
• Validate data in MaineCare data warehouses and decision support systems.
• Prepare reports and forecasts to support budgetary initiatives.
• Present analyses to MaineCare senior management and other units.
