Insurance Underwriter - Specialty Program (Excess & Surplus Commercial Lines)

Location: Remote work from home possible

We are seeking an experienced insurance underwriter with 5+ years of underwriting expertise to develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product coverages, packages, and features tailored for small and medium-sized business lines, including restaurants, contractors, mercantile, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement business plans to maximize profit and growth in Small Business General Liability Lines.
2. Collaborate closely with the product development team.
3. Support sales leadership in managing agent relationships.
4. Create programs that encourage agencies to adopt new products, technologies, and practices.
5. Ensure compliance with individual state regulations.
6. Monitor industry trends and competitor actions, analyze impacts, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and professional designation such as CPCU.
• Experience with small & medium-sized business general liability products.
