Description

Summary: Floor Staff team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability, as either variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly employees. Their primary responsibility is ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. Floor Staff may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Employees must act as representatives of Regal, adhering to our mission and policies, including:

• Regular and consistent attendance
• Handling emergency situations
• General cleaning duties
• Dress code compliance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

For each position, including but not limited to:

Box Office

• Operating POS system, handling cash, credit cards, gift cards, and coupons accurately
• Upselling Premium Viewing Experiences
• Promoting the Regal Crown Club
• Selling tickets according to MPAA ratings and company policy
• Responding to guest inquiries professionally

Concession

• Operating POS and managing inventory
• Promoting the Regal Crown Club
• Preparing and cleaning concession equipment
• Upselling and suggestive selling
• Adhering to food safety laws and alcohol regulations where applicable
• Reading and understanding training materials on harassment and discrimination

Usher

• Tearing tickets and directing patrons
• Inspecting backpacks when applicable
• Managing crowd control and assisting with seating
• Enforcing MPAA ratings
• Monitoring theatre environment and reporting issues
• Performing concession sales and cleaning duties

Qualifications

Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Requirements include:

• Completion of cast certification and box office training or progress towards it
• Legal alcohol service certification if applicable
• Good communication, math, and reasoning skills
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 60 pounds, and perform other physical tasks
