You’ll work alongside a manager who will help coordinate and lead operations, oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed. **Job Responsibilities**

  1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes).
  2. Direct daily activities.
  3. Maintain food production standards to ensure safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
  4. Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free storage of food items.
  5. Maintain serving schedules; ensure all food is served per menu specifications safely and appropriately following policies and procedures.
  6. Maintain a sanitary environment complying with health and safety codes and regulations.
  7. Keep accurate inventory records weekly.
  8. Prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production levels.
  9. Supervise, evaluate, counsel, and promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
  10. Maintain a safe working environment.
  11. Train and mentor other food service workers.
  12. Log maintenance required on equipment within the department.
  13. Complete all food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions as necessary.
  14. Perform preventative maintenance checks.
  15. Recommend equipment replacements to meet facility needs.
  16. Perform multi-tasking proficiently.
  17. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
  18. Fill in for absent employees as needed.
  19. Stay informed about daily catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
  20. Work occasional night and weekend catering events.
  21. Attend staff food service meetings.
  22. Maintain communication with staff via various channels.
  23. Perform cashier duties if needed.
  24. Promote good public relations.
