Description

Here at Ron Tonkin Honda, business is booming and we need an additional Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our service department. We are building a new team to help with the increase in volume! Working as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, your main responsibility will be troubleshooting and repairing issues with our clients’ vehicles. The ideal candidate would have prior automotive technician experience and be Honda Certified.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose automotive problems as they arise.
• Conduct inspections, repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical systems, and replace parts.
• Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process.
• Mentor and assist other technicians on the Service Team.

Qualifications

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience.
• Honda Certification is preferred but not required.
• Driver’s License.
• Personal tools.

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 or older, have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
