Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cash receipt documentation and journal entries daily and monthly.
• Assist AML compliance by monitoring and escalating unusual transactions.
• Distribute jackpots and large payouts with proper documentation.
• Execute secure transfers of currency, chips, and negotiable instruments with logs.

General Definition: The Main Bank Cashier ensures the accuracy and security of all casino financial transactions, including cash receipts, jackpots, and high-value payouts. This role maintains compliance with Title 31, MICS/TICS, and AML regulations while coordinating secure transfers of funds and supporting daily and monthly financial reporting. The cashier provides guidance to team members on cash handling procedures and assists with audits to uphold internal controls. Through attention to detail and professional service, this position helps maintain operational efficiency and a positive guest experience.Essential Job Functions:Supports financial accuracy by maintaining cash receipt documentation and providing information for journal entries on a daily and monthly basisAssists with maintaining documentation and compiling information for all casino related cash receipt.Assists with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance by monitoring, documenting, and escalating unusual or suspicious transactions in line with Title 31 and internal protocols.Provides support to internal team members regarding cash handling procedures, reconciliations, and transaction-related inquiries to ensure efficiency and compliance.Facilitates the accurate distribution and documentation of jackpots and other large payouts in accordance with regulatory and internal control requirements.Executes secure transfers of currency, chips, and negotiable instruments between departments while maintaining accurate logs and accountability.Verify correct amounts of loose coins and bundled paper money.Record information regarding all transactions in the computerMaintain and observe compliance with Title 31, MICS/TICS, and internal control protocols; performs periodic audits to ensuring adherence to established standards.Maintains accurate accountability of all funds, ensuring strict adherence to security requirements during transfers, counts, and verifications.Coordinates with other departments or vendors regarding gaming floor changes impacting the drop/pull process, machine access, or related activities.Maintains all records, reports, and other required paperwork in the cage and count room division of the Finance Department.Maintain the cage safe and clean and assists other team members when needed.Upholds company service standards to create memorable and consistent guest experiences.Enters various data, reconciles all totals to the Master Summary.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.A minimum of six (6) months year of cash handling experience, preferably in cage, count, or related casino or hospitality operations.A minimum of one (1) year of casino, cage, count, guest services or hospitality operations experience required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated ability to efficiently and precisely count and balance cash to ensure accurate reporting and distribution.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formDemonstrated ability of strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and engaging guest experienceDemonstrated ability to follow detailed procedures with accuracy and precision.Ability to work collaboratively with peers, staff, and regulatory agency personnel.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule including weekends, evenings and holidaysMust be able to work in a smoke-filled environmentTraining:Must be able to pass Title 31 TrainingLicenses/Certifications/Other:Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functionsMust be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative resultTraining:Must be able to pass Title 31TrainingPhysical Requirements:The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
