Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to coordinate team activities and communicate effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, production documents, and instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to complete production reports accurately and on time.
• Understanding of OSHA safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up the mailer bag line according to job specs.
• Monitor production flow to meet quality and productivity targets.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and assist with repairs.
• Manage product changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Ensure materials are prepared prior to runs.
• Coordinate activities of Assistants and Inspectors to drive safety and quality.
• Perform general machine maintenance and upkeep of production equipment.
• Complete production reports for management.
• Operate a forklift safely when necessary.
