Job summary

Dnata is seeking a warehouse associate in the United States for loading and unloading truck and aircraft containers. The role requires physical labor, lifting up to 70 lbs, and stacking mail and parcels in floor-level containers. You will operate rolling equipment and assist with mail handling from various storage points.

Candidates must be able to work variable shifts, including weekends, and be prepared for extended hours during irregular operations. Clearance from USPIS may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform heavy manual labor including lifting up to 70 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends.
• Shifts determined by administrative staff based on operational needs.
• Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during irregular operations.
• Male applicants must be registered on the Selective Service System and provide the number.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver truck and aircraft containers.
• Stack packages, mail bags and totes into floor level containers.
• Pull rolling equipment across the warehouse floor and move empty/loaded equipment.
• Load/unload mail from rolling equipment and floor-level containers.
• Unload/load trailers with rolling equipment.

Job description

• Must have strong work ethic and be able to perform physical labor over several hours, including the repetitive lifting of items up to 70 lbs.
• Stacking of packages, mail bags and mail totes into floor level containers.
• Pull rolling equipment across warehouse floor. Requires pulling empty and loaded equipment.
• Load/unload mail form rolling equipment.
• Load/unload mail from floor-level containers. Requires standing, some bending and occasionally step ladder use.
• Most items weight under 20 lbs. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
• Unloading and loading of trailers with rolling equipment.
