Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a temporary Mail Processing Clerk in the Maryville, TN area to handle mail processing and related admin tasks. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, August through December, with benefits such as vacation pay, medical insurance, and 401(k).

The position requires a high school diploma, basic typing ability, and comfort with AS400 and standard office equipment. Strong communication via phone, email, and in person is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Typing at least 35 WPM is expected.
• Familiarity with AS400 system.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email and in person.
• Must be comfortable on feet and walking through facility.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs repeatedly.
• Proficient with computers and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Research, identify, and update all returned mail per policies.
• Provide administration services to all business units.
• Support vendor services.
• Answer calls regarding mail and package tracking for departments.
• Assist with troubleshooting lost or missing packages and mail.
