Job summary

Huntington Chamber is seeking an experienced Mail Machine Operator to operate and adjust mail production equipment, load orders, and set up KR lines. The role requires standing all day, strong safety practices, and ability to work overtime or varied shifts.

You will use a KR Line and vision system, perform TPM, and help maintain 5S in a team environment. Cross-training across positions will be expected as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Willing to learn multiple positions and classifications as determined by team leaders.
  • Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day and to work overtime or on various shifts.
  • Must be able to read and load computer orders and operate automated systems.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload KR Pockets.
  • Perform quality checks as required.
  • Load and unload Inserter.
  • Operate computers to load orders and set up KR Line to produce orders.
  • Setup and operate Vision matching system.
  • Setup and operate finishing equipment (Tabber, Stamping Machine and Mini Folder).
  • Maintain 5S and a Safe Work Environment.
  • Perform daily Preventative Maintenance TPM as required.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Cross train and work in other positions as directed by leadership.
  • Perform other duties as determined by team leaders/management.

Primary Purpose:

Operate and adjust mail machines

Job Duties/Requirements:
  • Load and unload KR Pockets
  • Perform quality checks as required
  • Load and unload Inserter
  • Operate computers to load orders and set up KR Line to produce order
  • Setup and operate Vision matching system
  • Setup and operate finishing equipment (Tabber, Stamping Machine and Mini Folder)
  • Maintain 5S and a Safe Work Environment
  • Able to perform daily Preventative Maintenance TPM as required
  • Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to work independent and as part of a team
  • Ability to work overtime or any shift as required
  • Ability to work with computers and automated systems
