Job summary

The Huntington Chamber in Huntington, IN, seeks a detail-oriented Mail Machine Operator to operate and adjust mail production equipment, load orders, and set up KR Line to fulfill shipments.

Candidates will perform quality checks, run finishing equipment, maintain 5S and safety, and be prepared to work overtime or flexible shifts while collaborating with team members.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload KR Pockets and Inserter.
• Set up KR Line to produce orders and load materials.
• Operate Vision matching system and finishing equipment.
• Perform quality checks as required.
• Maintain 5S and a safe work environment; follow TPM practices.
• Stand up to 10 hours; work independently or as part of a team.
• Cross-train and work in other positions as directed by leadership.

Primary Purpose:

Operate and adjust mail machines

Job Duties/Requirements:

• Load and unload KR Pockets
• Perform quality checks as required
• Load and unload Inserter
• Operate computers to load orders and set up KR Line to produce order
• Setup and operate Vision matching system
• Setup and operate finishing equipment (Tabber, Stamping Machine and Mini Folder)
• Maintain 5S and a Safe Work Environment
• Able to perform daily Preventative Maintenance TPM as required
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to work independent and as part of a team
• Ability to work overtime or any shift as required
• Ability to work with computers and automated systems
• Able to work with solvents and cleaning liquids
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Must be able to cross train and work in other positions and classifications as determined by team leaders/management
• Perform other duties as determined by team leaders/management
