We haul mail for the United States Postal Service. Most of our freight is dedicated, round-trip. Drivers operate between Postal facilities and relay points. Loading and unloading may be required, either individually or with dock workers, with or without mechanical freight-handling equipment.
Hometime: Home daily, every other day, weekly, or out for a few weeks (OTR).
Pay: Hourly ($17.80-$22.70/hour plus additional H&W after 90 days) or mileage pay, depending on the load.
Benefits: Eligible after 90 days, including BC/BS health insurance, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, 10 paid holidays, Holiday Banking, Paid Vacation, Direct Deposit, $15,000 free life insurance, additional life options, and a 401(k).
Equipment: Mostly 5-year-old or newer trucks, mainly Volvos and Internationals, governed at 68 MPH, many with APUs and Refrigerators, mostly automatics.
