Job Description

The primary objective of the Driver position is to transport students and staff to and from designated locations. The Driver will pick up and drop off students and staff from the CMC campus and designated locations.

Part‑time position: limited to 28 hours per CMC’s workweek (Saturday through Friday).

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for students and staff to and from CMC campus and designated locations.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance policies of Colorado Mountain College while performing all duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be 25 years or older.
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license with no violations within two years.
• Must pass the online CMC driver training and the Colorado Mountain College driver safety course.
• Successful completion of a background check including a motor vehicles records report is required.
• Background check and driver safety course are mandatory for all candidates.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) or conversational language abilities preferred.
• Must be able to accurately report their work location at all times.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Benefits and Compensation

• Hourly pay rate starts at $21.00, set commensurate with qualifications and in compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
