Job summary

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, seeks applicants to deliver mail on a CDS route in the Cushing, ME area. Requires a valid Maine driver’s license, 18+ years of age, and ability to lift 70 lbs; resident of the area.

Duties include sorting mail for 445 boxes, loading mail, delivering along a 38.6 mile line, and occasional administrative tasks. Vehicle reimbursement is provided on top of hourly pay.

Job description

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices in 21 states, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route recently solicited and posted by the USPS in the Cushing, ME area.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Maine driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs., able to work in all types of weather conditions and must reside in the area.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 445 active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail along an assigned 38.6 mile line-of-travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other administrative duties are required.

Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements:

• Applicant must furnish their OWN vehicle, which meets postal regulations, and meet postal driving requirements.
• One (1) Dependable (Mini-Van or Equivalent) vehicle or the equivalent that provides120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels
• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
• The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance cost. VEHICLE REIMBURSEMENT PAID ON TOP OF HOURLY RATE.

Employment Begins: ASAP

• Work Schedule: Hiring for full and part time. Part time will generally be one day per week. Rotating Saturdays for both positions.
• Hours: Day Shift - 8:30am – 3:30pm*
• Pay: $24.26**/hour PLUS vehicle reimbursement
  • Straight time, Health & Welfare, Holiday and Vehicle Reimbursement paid out. Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act. **.

  • **Rate of Pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.

Must be able to pass a drug test and have a criminal background history that meets the USPS standards. TNStumpff Enterprises participates in the E-Verify program.
