Overview

The Project Manager will lead the project management for critical infrastructure, telecommunication design/build projects. Projects focus on electrical, HVAC, and civil infrastructure supporting customer requirements. Responsibilities include client meetings, project planning, equipment selection and logistics, on-site management, and project closeouts. The ideal candidate will have solid construction management experience and strong customer interaction skills in the cable or telecom industry.

What Will You Do

• Refine scope of work and detail subcontracts
• Manage multiple projects at various stages of activity
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, scope, and schedules
• Participate in engineering processes to control costs and meet client budget requirements
• Develop and update project schedules as projects progress
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents to support installation teams
• Apply critical thinking for problem solving
• Evaluate subcontractor and equipment proposals technically
• Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents
• Coordinate completion of construction activities
• Prepare punch lists for system readiness before client turnover
• Prepare customer proposals and project change orders

What You Will Need

• 3-10 years of experience in construction project management (Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil)
• Understanding of commercial electrical and HVAC systems
• Ability to read and interpret scope of work and engineering drawings
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Strong team player with a winning mentality
• Knowledge of construction safety policies and procedures; field experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills for customer-facing interactions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Preferred: experience with data centers, critical infrastructure, and networking facilities
• Willingness to travel 90% within the New England region

Salary range: $100,000 - $104,750
