Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation seeks an experienced Software Systems Tester to support US Marine Corps command and control programs. You will design test plans, execute tests and report results for MAGTF software, ensuring interoperability across GCCS‑TCO, CAC2S and TAK environments.

You will coordinate with government and contractor teams, maintain traceability to requirements, and brief status and risk assessments to diverse audiences. On‑site work with security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of relevant software or systems testing experience, preferably in a DoD environment.
• DoD 8140‑approved cybersecurity certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
• Deep knowledge of MAGTF software systems and related tools (GCCS‑TCO, Agile Client, CAC2S, TAK, CHE).
• Experience developing test plans, procedures and cases for complex software systems.
• Experience planning and running testing events with participants, schedules and resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test procedures and test cases for integrated MAGTF software systems.
• Plan, coordinate and execute formal and informal testing events including integration, regression and interoperability testing.
• Test MAGTF command and control software such as GCCS‑TCO, Agile Client, CAC2S, TAK, CHE and related systems.
• Verify system-of-systems integration and interoperability across MAGTF programs; identify defects and gaps.
• Document test results, defects, test reports and track issues through resolution.
• Coordinate test event logistics with government, military and contractor stakeholders.
• Support requirements traceability by mapping tests to system requirements and capabilities.
• Provide input on expected behavior, operational employment and realistic test scenarios.
• Brief test status, results and risk assessments to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Recommend improvements to test processes, tools and procedures to increase efficiency and coverage.
