It is a full-time day's position at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.

A Magnetoencephalography II Technologist provides functional guidance and performs magnetoencephalography, electroneurodiagnostic, and physiologic procedures, analyzes data from these procedures, and provides technical documentation for use in the evaluation and diagnosis of brain disorders in the clinical setting. This role includes providing patient care, education and training, leadership, and working towards continuous improvement. The technologist works alongside other technologists, leads by example, provides appropriate educational opportunities for staff, conducts competency testing, participates in department team member orientation, works with students, and interfaces with leadership.

This position involves splitting time between Magnetoencephalography duties and other responsibilities in neurodiagnostic.

  1. Associate's Degree is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  2. 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
  3. MEG experience is required.
  4. CMEG registry is required.
  5. Ability to meet all requirements of competencies in which Registries are held is necessary.
  6. Initiative towards the application of tests and modification of established protocols to fit patient needs is required.
  7. Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions are necessary to properly and effectively administer Neurophysiological monitoring and testing.
  8. Strong data acquisition, analysis, and troubleshooting skills are required.
  9. Ability and tolerance to care for patients of all ages is necessary.
  10. Current BLS certification is required.
