It is a full-time day's position at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.

A Magnetoencephalography II Technologist provides functional guidance and performs magnetoencephalography, electroneurodiagnostic, and physiologic procedures, analyzes data from these procedures, and technical documentation for use in the evaluation and diagnosis of brain disorders in the clinical setting. Provides patient care, education and training, leadership, and working towards continuous improvement. Works alongside other technologists, leads by example, provides appropriate educational opportunities for staff, competency testing, department team member orientation, works with students, and interfaces with leadership.

This position involves splitting time between Magnetoencephalography duties and other responsibilities in neurodiagnostic.

  • Associate's Degree is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • MEG experience requires.
  • Requires CMEG registry.
  • Requires ability to meet all requirements of competencies in which Registries are held.
  • Requires initiative towards the application of tests and modifies established protocols to fit patient needs.
  • Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions in order to properly and effectively administer Neurophysiological monitoring and testing.
  • Requires strong data acquisition, analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Requires ability and tolerance to care for patients of all ages.
  • Requires current BLS certification.
