Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and deliver high-quality imaging services in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes accurate imaging, patient safety, and collaborating with radiologists and staff.

The successful candidate will have a two-year radiology program, MRI tech certification, and at least one year of MRI experience, supporting McLaren’s commitment to excellent patient care across Michigan.

Qualifications

• Two-year accredited Radiology program completion.
• One year of MRI Technologist experience preferred.
• Must be certified as an MRI Technologist.

Job description

The McLaren system includes 12 hospitals across the state, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, a 730-member employed primary and specialty care physician network, commercial and Medicaid HMOs covering more than 242,000 Michigan lives, home health, infusion and hospice providers, pharmacy services, a clinical laboratory network, and a wholly owned medical malpractice insurance company. Under the direction of the Radiology Manager, is responsible for performing a wide variety of MRI examinations, exercising professional judgment in the performance of these procedures and providing patient care.

Required

• Successfulcompletion of a two year accredited Radiology program
• Oneyear of experience as a MRI Technologist
• Mustbe certified as an MRI Technologist
