Job summary

ECU Health Physicians is seeking an MRI Technologist I to demonstrate knowledge and competency in MRI procedures, performing the scope allowed by law with required ARRT MR registry and education.

Minimum requirements include high school diploma or higher, BLS certification, ARRT credentials, and passing MRI registry within 18 months. MRI experience is preferred; shift is Day, weekends No.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher (or equivalent).
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Current ARRT (R), ARRT (N), NMCTB, ARRT (T), ARRT (US), or RDMS and must pass MRI registry within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with knowledge and competency required by law.
• Demonstrate clinical experience and complete ARRT MR registry requirements.
• Support imaging department standards and patient safety during MRI exams.

Position Summary

Demonstrates knowledge and competency in all MRI procedures. The scope of practice of the MRI Technologist I includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience, has demonstrated competency, and has completed the appropriate ARRT (MR) registry which is the standard of practice in Radiology.

Minimum Requirements

• High school or equivalent (or higher)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Current ARRT (R), ARRT (N), NMCTB, ARRT (T), ARRT (US), or RDMS and must pass MRI registry test within 18 months of hire.
• MRI experience preferred

Pay Range

$33.08 - $48.22
