• BCLS and ARRT or ARMRIT certification required upon hire.

**MRI Technologist PRN**

Texas Health Flower Mound Radiology MRI department is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist.

**Work location:** 4400 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound, TX 75028

**Work hours:** PRN (As Needed)

**Department Highlights:**

**Qualifications:**

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required, or
• Associate's Degree preferred, or
• Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency

Experience

• 1 year medical imaging experience required
• 1 year MRI experience preferred
• Recent hospital experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support, required before providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MR, upon hire, required, or
• ARMRIT - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists, upon hire, required, or
• Other relevant ARRT certifications (R, CT, N) or CNMT as specified, upon hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Explain procedures to patients and position them correctly
• Assess and respond to patients' emotional and physical conditions
• Operate, care for, and maintain MRI equipment
• Maintain and enhance technical skills and stay updated with technological advancements
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
