Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a Campus of Duke University Hospital, seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide advanced and specialized nursing care within the Nursing Clinical Ladder program. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a 204-bed campus in Raleigh, NC.

Requires BSN, NC RN license, BLS, and at least 12 months of clinical experience; 40 hours per week, 5 x 8 shifts, start 7:30am, strong assessment, education, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Experience: Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide advanced and/or specialized nursing care for patients.
• Identify care needs for patient populations at the unit level.
• Provide leadership in standards of care, patient/family education and staff education.
• Guide professional growth of others at the unit level.
• Maintain documentation and communication using computer or paper tools.
