Vulcan Elements Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Instructor to deliver onboarding, safety, and operator training at Johnston County Community College. You will supervise hands-on practice, ensure learners meet qualification requirements, and coordinate with experts across Operations, Quality, and Engineering.

The role involves preparing training materials, conducting assessments, and maintaining accurate records while promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on the shop floor.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma and at least five years of relevant industrial experience with two years of training, coaching, onboarding, or leading employees.
• Experience operating industrial equipment and ability to qualify on assigned machines and processes.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety, quality, documentation, and equipment-control practices.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver onboarding, safety, technical, and operator training using classroom, simulations, and hands-on exercises.
• Explain manufacturing concepts clearly to hourly operators and technicians.
• Prepare presentations, guides, and materials; coordinate guest instructors and subject-matter experts.
• Administer quizzes and practical assessments; maintain attendance and records.
• Teach topics in magnet science, safety, quality, material control, and MES/ERP concepts.
