Vulcan Elements is hiring a Manufacturing Instructor to deliver onboarding, safety, and operator training for hourly workers at Johnston County Community College. You will teach approved curriculum, operate training equipment, and supervise hands-on practice to ensure readiness for magnet manufacturing roles.

You will qualify on assigned machines, coordinate with subject-matter experts, and maintain accurate training records while following approved procedures to keep training safe and effective.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of industrial experience and 2 years training or leading employees.
• Experience operating industrial equipment and ability to qualify on assigned machines and processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety, quality, documentation, and equipment-control practices.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, and classroom-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and classroom technology; ability to travel between JCC, Vulcan Elements, and pilot sites.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver onboarding, safety, technical, and operator training using classroom instruction, videos, discussions, simulations, and practical exercises.
• Explain manufacturing concepts clearly for hourly operators and technicians.
• Maintain an organized learning environment and adapt instruction to learner experience while preserving outcomes.
• Prepare presentations, student guides, handouts, equipment, and materials before sessions.
• Coordinate guest instructors and subject-matter experts to support training delivery.
• Complete machine qualifications and safely set up, operate, monitor, and shut down equipment.
• Demonstrate operating procedures, controls, hazards, quality checks, documentation, and emergency response.
• Supervise hands-on practice, enforce PPE and stop-work rules, and document assessments.
• Administer quizzes, assessments, and coaching; maintain attendance and training records.
