Job summary

NCSL International is seeking a Magnetics Processing Technician to perform final processing of magnets from the manufacturing floor, including cleaning, visual inspection, magnetizing, calibration/testing, and packaging.

The role requires setup and operation of equipment, adherence to lean manufacturing principles, and teamwork in a safety-conscious environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be prepared for a hands-on role in a small team.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience handling fragile materials.
• Lean manufacturing experience desired.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO systems preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Teamwork in a small group setting.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment per technical instructions.
• Change fluids and clean machines and tanks per PM log.
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously.
• Review operation sheets to verify completion.
• Sign off sheets and record good/bad quantities.
• Maintain parts and identification during processing.
• Identify nonconforming material.
• Verify operations match blueprints.
• Maintain tooling for maximum efficiency.
• Report wear and tear.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
