Job summary

Luxfer Magtech, based in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Production Technician to join our hands-on manufacturing team. You will process magnesium materials and produce products to customer specifications, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Training is provided on equipment and processes. You’ll work full-time on 7-3am or 3-11pm shifts, with second shift +$0.35/hr and third shift +$1.50/hr differentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability and willingness to work other shifts if needed (not rotating).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment such as grinders, chippers, and atomizers (training provided).
• Monitor equipment and processes to keep operations safe and efficient.
• Take measurements and adjust to meet quality standards.
• Follow SOPs and safety requirements.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and report issues.
• Complete production logs and material records accurately.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Safely handle materials in a regulated manufacturing environment.
