Job summary

Timpanogos Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Imaging (Radiology) Technologist to perform radiographic procedures with professional judgment and patient-centered care.

You will handle a variety of imaging tasks, including radiology department work, portable exams, and c-arm procedures, while staying current with techniques and practicing compassionate care in line with the hospital’s “Care Like Family” motto.

Qualifications

  • ARRT-R Radiography certification or equivalent.
  • Radiologic technologist certification (RT) and licensure as applicable.
  • Graduation from a vocational school or equivalent program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality radiographic images to assist in diagnosis.
  • Perform imaging procedures in the radiology department, including portable exams and c-arm procedures.
  • Schedule, plan, and complete service requests while maintaining a compassionate environment.
  • Demonstrate growth and development awareness and understand patient care needs across age groups.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current techniques and procedures.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist at our facility, you will perform professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. In this role:

  • You will be responsible for providing the patient, the proper procedure with excellent quality images to assist the physician in the diagnosis of the patient’s condition or health complaint.

  • You will perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department as well as portable exams and c-arm procedures throughout the hospital.

  • You will be responsible to schedule, plan, implement and complete the request for service and provide a friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the”care like family”mission of the hospital.

  • You will possess knowledge of growth and development; and have an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.

  • You will be responsible for staying up to date of current techniques and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date

  • (ARRT-R) Radiography

  • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer

  • Vocational School Graduate
