Famous Cigars in Easton, PA is seeking a hands-on E-Commerce Back-End Developer focused on PHP and Magento 2/Adobe Commerce. You will own back-end functionality, develop custom modules, APIs, integrations, and ensure data integrity with MySQL.

You will work with GraphQL/REST APIs, Docker, Composer, and Git, troubleshoot production issues, and improve performance. This on-site role offers core hours 8-5, with hybrid consideration for highly qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of back-end web development with e-commerce experience.
• Hands-on Magento 2/Adobe Commerce back-end development.
• Strong SQL/MySQL skills with joins, analysis and performance tuning.
• Experience with XML config, GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Experience with Composer, Docker and Git.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance Magento back-end functionality with PHP.
• Develop custom modules, services, integrations, API endpoints.
• Work with MySQL to troubleshoot data and improve queries.
• Follow Magento patterns including DI, events/observers, plugins.
• Develop GraphQL and REST APIs connecting to middleware and systems.
• Manage PHP dependencies with Composer; run Docker environments.
• Use Git, PRs, code review and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues across app, DB and API layers.
• Improve caching, indexing, and overall e-commerce performance.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams on solutions.
