Job summary

The Publications Specialist II - Magazine Editor at T. White Parker oversees the editorial lifecycle of the agency’s quarterly magazine, ensuring on-time production, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with strategic communications goals.

You will coordinate between authors, technical reviewers, layout teams, and legal counsel; manage version control, approvals, distribution formats, and cross‑functional review cycles to deliver a polished publication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or a closely related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certification is highly desirable.
• Strong editorial, writing, and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Lifecycle & Production Management: Oversee the complete magazine lifecycle, including production schedules and version tracking.
• Editorial & Writing Support: Provide high‑level editorial assistance and develop promotional materials.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate between authors, reviewers, design teams, and legal counsel.
• Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to GPO/Chicago styles and Section 508 accessibility.
• Logistical Oversight: Manage distribution and formatting specifications for final release.
