What You’ll Do

• Own and guide outreach across consumer, commerce, tech, and crypto verticals
• Cultivate meaningful media relationships with lifestyle, business, tech, Web3, and culture reporters, counseling junior team members on media engagement
• Identify trends, real-time opportunities, and reporter needs – then act on them quickly

Strategy & Storytelling

• Co-lead development of strategic earned media plans and campaign roadmaps
• Guide junior team on angles, timing, and placement strategy aligned with client goals and cultural trends
• Stay ahead of the media cycle, client KPIs, and headline trends
• Serve as the main contact for 4-6 accounts; manage client communications and internal workflows
• Organize trackers and platforms (e.g., Asana, Muck Rack)
• Ensure timely, on-brand, client-ready materials
• Draft and refine PR materials : press releases, alerts, bylines, messaging frameworks, award entries
• Develop tailored, media lists aligned with brand identity
• Mentor junior team members on writing structure, tone, and media fit

Thought Leadership

• Identify and secure media, speaking, and award opportunities for founders and spokespeople
• Lead creation of bios, submissions, and original bylined content
• Maintain a collaborative, kind, curious, and proactive attitude
• Take ownership of your work and step up when needed

What We’re Looking For

• 4–5 years of agency or in-house PR experience with strong media relations skills
• Proven success securing press across business, consumer, tech, crypto, lifestyle, and commerce outlets
• Excellent multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mentorship ability
• Detail-oriented, creatively curious, results-focused
