Job summary

Mad Science is seeking a Camp Counselor to lead dynamic science activities for kids aged 4-12 at our summer camps. You’ll deliver engaging, hands-on classes in a fun, safe environment Monday through Friday, with 8-10 week commitment and 20-40 hours per week depending on part/full-time status.

You'll need experience working with groups of children, a reliable vehicle to travel between locations, and a friendly, energetic personality. Training and programs are provided.

• Experience leading groups of elementary-age children.
• Must have a dependable vehicle to reach camp locations.
• Outgoing, fun personality with commitment to 8-10 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Lead an active and engaging full day summer camp for 10-20 children ages 4-12.
• Typical schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 12:15 pm or 12:30 - 4:15 pm.
• Programs, training and supplies for camps are provided.

Programs, training and supplies for camps are provided.

• Pay: $15.50 - $19.50 per hour
• Part Time Instructors work 20-25 hours per week
• Full Time Instructors work 38-40 hours per week

Typical Schedule:

• Monday thru Friday
• ½ day camps 8:30 am - 12:15 pm or 12:30 - 4:15 pm
