Job summary

The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA invites applications for two full-time tenure-track positions in macroeconomics to begin in August 2027, at the Assistant or Associate Professor level without tenure.

Ideal candidates hold a Ph.D. in economics, demonstrate strong research and undergraduate teaching, and commit to inclusive pedagogies. Teaching will include Quantitative Macroeconomics and related courses; new hires receive start-up funding and a one-course reduction in the first year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-impact macroeconomics courses, including Quantitative Macroeconomics.
• Establish and maintain an active program of scholarly research across economics disciplines.
• Supervise student research projects and contribute to curricular breadth of the department.
• Engage with the College and local communities to advance inclusive excellence.
