The Louis A. Simpson Center for the Study of Macroeconomics within Princeton University's Department of Economics invites applications for one or more Postdoctoral Research Associates in macroeconomics, anticipated to start September 2027.

Positions are for one academic year with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding. A PhD in Economics is required, and on-campus work is expected; visa sponsorship is not a primary consideration.

Qualifications

• PhD in Economics by start of appointment.
• Strong research background in macroeconomics.
• Ability to work independently and with faculty and students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent macroeconomics research and collaborate with Princeton faculty.
• Participate in the teaching program if mutually agreed and feasible.
• Contribute to seminars and the intellectual life of the department.
