Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Middle Office Analyst in New York to support a macro trading desk. The role focuses on post-trade operations, reconciliation with brokers and counterparties, and process improvements across markets.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in financial markets, familiarity with derivatives, and strong Python, UNIX, and SQL skills. Base salary ranges from 120,000 to 160,000 USD with discretionary bonuses and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant financial markets experience preferably with a Macro trading desk.
• Knowledge of Derivatives, Futures, Fixed Income or Rates products is a plus.
• Experience with Python and UNIX operating systems (Linux).
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve daily position, trade and cash discrepancies with external counterparties.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Document complex middle office processes and guidelines.
• Onboard new trading into existing technology and platforms.
• Reconcile daily position, cash, and PnL breaks with internal and external parties.
• Research corporate actions and maintain commission structures across markets.
