Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) seeks a Middle Office Analyst in New York with experience supporting FX trading products. You will work closely with counterparties and internal teams to monitor positions, reconcile breaks, and improve workflows across diverse markets.

The role requires 3-5 years in financial markets, strong FX product knowledge, Python and SQL skills, and a detail-oriented, proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant financial markets experience, preferably with an FX trading desk.
• Working knowledge of FX products (spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, options) and their trade lifecycles.
• Hands-on Python for data analysis, workflow automation, and tooling in Linux.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take ownership, debug, analyze, and troubleshoot under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve daily position, trade and cash discrepancies with external counterparties.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement workflow improvements.
• Document complex processes to develop middle office guidelines.
• Onboard new trading into existing technology and platforms.
• Reconcile daily position, cash, and PnL breaks with internal and external parties.
• Research corporate actions and maintain commission structures across markets.
