Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer III in Content Development to research and implement macOS detection techniques for the Falcon Sensor. You will join a small macOS engineering group and translate research into production-ready solutions deployed across platforms.

This role blends research and software engineering, requires strong macOS internals knowledge, security experience, and the ability to own features end to end while collaborating across geographies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with reverse engineering, threat detection, and malware analysis, or designing/delivering software in Swift, C/C++, or Objective-C with security focus.
• Solid knowledge of macOS OS internals: processes, storage, networking, and memory management.
• Ability to develop high-quality code with high concurrency and performance.
• Experience delivering enterprise software with CI, testing, debugging, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Design and build detection logic used across teams to stop breaches.
• Research techniques for detecting malicious activity, including reverse engineering and big-data analysis.
• Own features from design to delivery, producing production-ready solutions for the endpoint sensor.
• Extend codebase using Swift, C++, Python and other DSLs as appropriate.
• Apply secure coding, testing paradigms, debugging, performance tracing, and OS internals to ensure sensor code is fast and reliable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies.
• Respond to and troubleshoot product issues reported by customers.
• Be an energetic self-starter with ownership of deliverables.
• Take on other projects as assigned.
