Machinists - Full and Part Time Lathe, Mill, Grind Departments

Join ARCH Cutting Tools as a Machinist in our Lathe, Mill, or Grind Departments. We offer day 1 benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement into leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, or Grinders and interpret blueprints to produce machined parts to specifications.
• Set up fixturing, cutting tools, and calculate feeds, speeds, and depths of cut.
• Adjust program and tool parameters to meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret CNC programs.
• Verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
• Maintain machine and work area cleanliness and perform minor maintenance.
• Complete work safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot issues within your department.
• Operate and maintain grinding machines, including surface, OD, and Bryant ID grinding.
• Report metrics as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies

• High school diploma or equivalent, or related experience.
• Experience with OD/ID grinders, surface grinders, or centerless grinders preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate a team.
• Dependability and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
