Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be a recent graduate (within 2 years) or currently enrolled and completed at least two semesters toward an Associates of Applied Science in Machine Tool Technology from NSCC, VHCC or TCAT.
- Candidates must upload transcripts as proof of enrollment or degree.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to skilled craft workers in maintenance and repair tasks.
- Assist in disassembly/assembly of equipment for repair or maintenance.
- Serve as fitter/helper for welders.
- May operate shop equipment with proper training.
- May read blueprints and shop sketches and use measuring tools.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety during tasks.
- Interact with team members and supervision to share leadership processes.
