Job summary

Eastman in Kingsport, Tennessee, offers a one-year Electromechanical Trainee program starting January 2027 for recent graduates or students nearing completion. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be recently graduated or currently enrolled with two semesters toward an AAS in Electrical/Electromechanical/Mechatronics from approved schools.
• Must achieve WorkKeys scores: Workplace Documents 6, Graphic Literacy 5, Applied Mathematics 6.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Aid skilled craft workers in maintenance and repair tasks.
• Assist in removal/installation of piping and equipment.
• Support basic measurements, cutting, deburring, and assembly under supervision.
• Help welders as a fitter/helper and operate shop tools after training.
