In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision parts while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards. You’ll work with a variety of machining equipment, technical documentation, and inspection tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in craftsmanship, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.***At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.*****Essential Functions*** Perform complete machining operations on a variety of parts and materials using manual and computer-assisted machining equipment.* Operate a variety of machining equipment, tools, and inspection devices based on job assignment and classification.* Set up, adjust, and change over equipment as required, including basic program edits when applicable.* Ensure all work meets quality specifications, tolerances, and production requirements.* Read and interpret manufacturing documentation such as blueprints, process sheets, work instructions, and material movement documents.* Prepare for assigned jobs based on production schedules and direction from the work area leader.* Coordinate materials to ensure uninterrupted production, utilizing pull systems or working with material suppliers as needed.* Perform in-process inspections at required intervals using appropriate measuring and inspection tools.* Partner with quality and support personnel to complete periodic inspections or layouts.* Identify and respond to out-of-tolerance conditions, taking corrective action and escalating issues when necessary.* Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks associated with assigned equipment.* Accurately record production, quality results, material usage, and time/attendance information.* Maintain clear and timely documentation to support traceability and continuous improvement.* Follow all safety rules, policies, and safe work practices at all times.
