Position Overview

Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 leader in motion and control technologies, seeks experienced machinists to operate conventional and CNC machining centers for the Military Flight Controls Division. The role involves working from blueprints, performing machine setups, and contributing to lean manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and set up various machining equipment on complex jobs, following blueprints and instructions.
  • Perform precision machining, deburring, and reworking of parts to meet specifications.
  • Inspect parts using measurement tools and ensure conformance to quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years related machining experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
  • Knowledge of machine shop mathematics, including trigonometry.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
Work Environment & Physical Demands

Must be able to walk, stand, sit for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity and close vision are required.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $26.14 - $39.47/hour, with participation in incentive programs. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
