Job summary

TBT GROUP INC in Bellmawr, NJ seeks a skilled Machinist (Set-up) to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role requires operating CNC machines, grinders, lathes, and mills to fabricate piezoelectric ceramic components with high precision.

You will read engineering drawings, set tooling, and perform in-process inspections to ensure tight tolerances and excellent surface finish. This position offers a $.50 shift differential and company-provided PPE in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and specs.
• Maintains accuracy and precision in machining operations.
• Follows safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, precision grinders, lathes, and milling machines to produce ceramic components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Perform precision machining, grinding, drilling, and finishing operations on ceramic materials.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
