Job summary

CMJ Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC machinist for mills and lathes with 5+ years in Aerospace. You will read engineering drawings, understand tool designs, and perform precision inspections using gauges and instruments. Self-motivated with a focus on quality and time efficiency.

First Shift, Full-time (7:00 am – 3:45 pm). Must have a High school or equivalent. DOE salary; drug test and background check at hire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC machining experience in Aerospace or closely related industry.
• Experience with setup of 3- and 4-axis CNC.
• Gibbs and Catia experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and tool designs.
• Meet time requirements in an efficient manner and follow routings.
• Use precision gauges and instruments for inspection.

Looking for experienced CNC machinist (mills and lathes) with a minimum of 5 years experience in Aerospace.

Competencies

• -Read and understand engineering drawings and tool designs
• -Knowledge of inspection process'
• -Read and understand routings - meet time requirements in an efficient manner
• -Experience with use of precision instruments, gauges, tools, etc
• -Basic math and problem solving skills
• -Must have own hand tools (Certified measuring devices provided)

Physical Requirements

• -Able to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead and bend to floor
• -Able to exert up to 50 lbs of force frequently
• -Subject to higher noise levels
