Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of machine operating experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret prints.
• Ability to adjust machine speeds and feeds.
• Ability to operate forklift.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using lathes, mills and other tools.
• Read and understand complex machining blueprints.
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic and specialized machining tools.
• Align and secure fixtures, tools, and materials on machines.
• Monitor feed and speed during machining.
• Diagnose malfunctions and determine repairs or adjustments.
• Measure parts to ensure proper dimensions.
• Maintain machines using mechanics, math, material properties, and procedures.
• Clean and lubricate machines and equipment; perform related duties.
