Novolex in Walton, KY is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will complete machine adjustments, modifications and repairs, ensuring parts meet exact specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred for machinist roles.
• Machinist trade school experience is preferred.
• 3-5 years of applicable work experience is required.
• Solid understanding of company machinery to perform duties.
• Ability to set up and run lathes and milling machines (Bridgeport).

Responsibilities

• Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner and follow safety rules.
• Keep work area clean and organized per standards.
• Follow all applicable food service policies and PPE policies.
• Make plate cylinders and gears; ensure correct dimensions and fit.
• Repair machine breakdowns as needed and rebuild components.
• Draw blueprints and sketches of work; meet job goals set by management.
