The role involves cutting with a miter saw, setting up a mill and drill press, using jigs and fixtures, and performing related production tasks across departments including shipping and welding.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to operate a miter saw for aluminum components.
• Ability to properly set up measurements and angles for cuts and assemblies.
• Experience with manual machining equipment (mill, drill press) and hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and assembly procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy material above head on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Use of miter saw for aluminum cutting.
• Set up mill, drill press, and other secondary operations.
• Use jigs and fixtures to complete production tasks.
• Perform other production duties in shipping and welding as needed.
• Follow established procedures, policies, OSHA and safety standards.
