Job summary

Jobot is seeking a motivated technician for our local machine shop in Bradley, Illinois. You will set up and operate CNC or manual mills and lathes to produce custom parts, reading blueprints and specs to ensure quality.

• Set up and operate CNC or manual mills and lathes to produce custom parts.
• Read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and precision measuring instruments.
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining methods while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect completed parts, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Machining experience is preferred, but motivated apprentices willing to learn will be considered.
